The Northern California AHEC is housed at the Health Alliance of Northern California (HANC), a community health center consortium of Federally Qualified Health Centers, Rural Health Clinics, and Indian Health Centers in north central and eastern California. The Northern California AHEC provides health professions orientation and linkages to training for high school students in rural and frontier communities within the region, supports clinical rotations for UC Davis Rural PRIME medical students, supports the training of allied health students and coordinates continuing education for clinical, allied and support staff in the member clinics
