Inland Empire AHEC is a new AHEC Center currently funded through the state. It’s housed in a network of clinics and community health centers that are dedicated to strengthening a community-wide system of primary care health services available to the diverse population. The service area is San Bernardino, the largest county in the US, and Riverside County and includes rural, agricultural, suburban and urban communities. 90% of San Bernardino county alone is desert. Training activities include continuing education, health professions students and residents rotations in CHCs and high school based pipeline programs
